Vince and I met on Sunday, June 13th, 2021 when he rolled into town for a job and was thinking to himself, "Great! Another little ass town with NOTHING here!" He was ecstatic to finally see some bar lights, so he parked and walked into the front door of Mojo's Tavern. He was greeted with the loud thumping of the juke box and a couple people having there very own karaoke session. You would of thought it was a full bar but there were only 3 people!

Formal/Dressy Casual

Dress Code is pretty eclectic. We want you to be comfortable, but not too comfortable. Don't get scared by the words "formal", we don't expect suit and tie, if you wish to do so, by all means. Please do not dress in sweatpants, leggings, jeans, jean shorts, hoodies, sweatshirts, T-shirts, etc. Choose comfortable footwear. The ceremony is on grassy land where the reception is on hard floor. Keep that in mind! All in all, be comfortable. I suggest no shoes while dancing. :) We will be on Cayuga Lake, so be sure to have a light jacket or throw to cover yourself, just in case the temperature gets low. We will have heat lanterns and multiple fireplaces to keep warm if need be.

Keep in mind, the sooner you book, the better. WE DO NOT HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK ANYWHERE AS OF NOW. WE DO NOT HAVE TRANSPORTATION SET UP. Do your research on booking rooms and transportation. I suggest you look up taxi options, UBER, LYFT, etc. in regards for transporting if staying off site and plan to consume alcohol. These are suggestions. Don't forget to look into AirBNB, VRBO, Campgrounds, Cabins, etc.

Travel

Visit the tallest waterfall in NYS! Located next door to the wedding venue! Enjoy a small walk to see the falls up close or take a peek at the overlook.

"You'll ascend approximately 600 feet on the gorge trail from its beginning at Buttermilk Falls by the time it ends just past the 42 ft "Pinnacle Rock." The gorge trail follows Buttermilk Creek through its cool, moist gorge past deep pools, sculpted rocks and several waterfalls. There are many beautiful stone steps on this trail, making it a difficult hike for some visitors."
